  • CDLH Advise on Glasgow's new luxury Aparthotel

The newest addition to Glasgow’s booming hotel sector opens around September 2018, on St Vincent place at George Square.  The new “Native Glasgow” offers 64 luxurious apartment rooms, developed to the highest standard.

Alan Creevy, Director of CDLH, who advised the building owners Mario Gizzi & Tony Conetta from the very commencement of the development, commented, “CDLH acted in an Agency and Consultancy capacity to assist Mario & Tony in designing the most appropriate hotel to meet the requirements of the changing accommodation sector and in attracting the best possible Management company.  The Native Glasgow Aparthotel will provide a significant addition which differentiates itself from much of the existing and new branded bedroom stock.  The luxury apartments and studios can be combined to offer larger accommodation units and have an unrivalled location at the core city centre, on the doorstep both of the city’s main rail stations.

CDLH acted in an operator selection role negotiated the management contract which is now in place for the operation of the hotel on behalf of the owners.  Native have real depth of expertise with a large existing portfolio centred around London and are expanding across the UK.

We have not doubt that the Native Glasgow will quickly become the foremost hotel within the city, combining a boutique hotel experience with aparthotel accommodation.

Alan Creevy commented further, “The range of accommodation on offer for new build hotels is widening quite significantly.  In the past, hotels would typically be limited service, budget accommodation or four-star high end.  There is now a huge diversity of accommodation from the small limited service Premier Hub accommodation, right through to apartment accommodation.  It is critical that developers seek advice from the outset to ensure that they create the most desirable accommodation with the highest demand, and CDLH find that our expertise in agency, valuation and development combined can significantly enhance overall viability and profitability.
