Agency

CDLH embraces the changing world and has built this into our agency capacity.

IT is an important tool in marketing a sale of property. Our website has been built specifically to cater for the needs of Licensed Leisure and Hotel properties. Each property on our website contains an individual secure data room allowing us to ensure interested parties are furnished with the requisite information quickly and efficiently at the correct time in a sale process.  We have a fully integrated information management system that tracks all interested parties from initial contact to the completion of a sale.

Our goal is to set up the sale efficiently with all information that is required by purchasers being easily accessible from the outset. This gains momentum in any marketing campaign resulting in best price together with quicker completion dates.

We are also well aware that IT is not a replacement for knowledgeable and expert advice. We can offer a low profile confidential marketing campaign where required.

With a combined experience of over 40 years knowledge in the sector, we are aware of all requirements, operators and potential purchasers in the market.

Our expertise will help clients navigate the Licensing Law, TUPE regulations and issues associated with a trading business sale. In relation to new lettings we ensure the Lease is correctly drafted to allow for the requirements of Hospitality and Leisure property particularly at Rent Review. In addition we can provide advice where required on Management Contracts.

The Directors of CDLH have handled some of Scotland's highest profile sector related sales over the last few years including:

  • The Sale of the Point Hotel Edinburgh
  • The Sale of the Novotel in Edinburgh Park
  • The Disposal of the McKever Hotels Portfolio
  • The Disposal of Festival Inns' Pub, Nightclub and Hotel Assets
  • Acquisition of Frankenstein Bars in Edinburgh and Glasgow
  • The Sale of The Purple Hotel, Glasgow
  • The sale of the world famous Rogano Restaurant in Glasgow
  • The sale of the iconic Hamilton Hall Building overlooking the 18th Green of the Old Course St Andrews
  • The Sale of Beanscene Coffee Shops

Clearly not all sales are of high profile flagship assets. Most are day to day disposals of small to medium sized properties and businesses. However the same attention to detail and expert advice is provided regardless of assets size or type.
